Pre-Approval

It is crucial for sellers to ensure that any potential buyer is pre-qualified or pre-approved, as there is a great deal of risk involved in accepting offers from a buyer who has not yet been deemed eligible. The risk presents itself in the event of the deal falling through due to the buyer not being able to attain a mortgage, as there would be a considerable amount of time lost. Not only could you have sold your house to someone who was in fact pre-approved, but you will have lost valuable time.
